Moddershall Oaks

Moddershall Oakes is a Hotel and Spa located in Staffordshire. The project was for the interior design aspect of a newly built function room venue. The project brief was to provide an adaptable function venue to accommodate weddings, business functions and an act as a versatile asset to what is a very large hotel and spa. With the wedding market at the forefront of the businesses future plans I needed to implement an interior that would complement and enhance many different wedding colour schemes whilst maintaining the character and atmosphere of the existing hotel. This was primarily achieved through a creative lighting system that could change to suit the tone, mood and colour of the wedding party yet equally appropriate for any other occasion. I had to focus on providing a warm and idyllic venue whilst incorporating media solutions for business conferences. Materials were selected and used to soften and warm the new building and avoid a corporate feel. I delivered on time and on budget for a delighted client that is now enjoying a very busy venue.
